title : Perth, Day 3. (&Day 2 & Day1)
Laadeedaaaa.
I'm FINALLY in Perth! haha, finally got a chance to bloggg. Reached Perth at around 9.15PM on tues. waited to clear customs and collect our luggage took quite a long time hmmph. the plane was also quite long, 5hrs plus. i watched my "down with love" series like finally on the plane (biggrins) 6th Yi Po and Daniel came to pick us up, thanks loads! caught my first glimpse of Aussie at night while my grandma and aunty talked up a storm. haha, me and daniel had no idea what they were talking about. so i was not the only one out of the loop haha. Wed, i had a super healthy breakfast. I eat very healthily over here, haha. Everything's like grown from the garden, after harvesting we can eat alr lol. I told my aunty that the only harvesting I've done is on facebook. LOL. Did a little shopping, when i say little i mean little. haha, only bought ONE thing. Today, me and my grandma conquered Public Transportation in Perth! :D so cool, riding on th train just like a local, only i was looked like a tourist LOL. shopped till we dropped, haha. my brothers are going to be happy when i get home. HAHAHA. bought a new knapsack, hahaha. and wallets and tops :D tmrw, we're gonna stay home and help out with the party preparations. On sat, there'll be a party for my uncle michael, a birthday party. luckily i brought a dress, or i'd be like some relative from a podunk town. lol. Can't get used to sleeping early, i've not slept early in AGES. so i try to lull myself to sleep with my storybooks haha. I'm on my fourth already. It's only the third night. sighs. Oh well, shall return daniel his macbook now. If you see this, thanks loads for the loan! :D (& for the fan upgrade haha) Weather in Perth is so much more enjoyable than the weather back home. It's sunny, but not humid. In Singapore, all you have to do is step out of your homes and you feel like you need to bathe again. Perth is also supercool is some ways. I went to woolworth's today, they had self checkout. you scan your own items, and you pay for them by slotting in notes and dropping in coins. so cool! you also don't have to worry about the cashier at the counter manhandling your produce. Stuff isn't cheap here, though. 1AUD =1.3+SGD. very irritating to keep on dividing. hmmph. I did get some great deals though. :D Shall return to my book now. I think this is my last post for this holiday. Photos will be up on fb as soon as i can get to a comp again :) People, wherever you are, esp my friends working in the IT show, have fun! :) Xoxo, Kayleen. (Will have a more detailed post when i get home. The macbook's on my lap, and I'm getting pins and needles -.-) Labels: Perth2010 |
